I.B. Engineering IBC mixers and agitators remix settled product using an E-400 folding impeller that fits through a standard 150mm screw cap opening.

Quickly remixes product settled during transportation or storage. Using the IBC as a mixing vessel ensures consistent product quality and offers significant savings on transfer and cleaning time.
The impellers are manufactured in several sizes to facilitate effective mixing for a wide range of products with different SG, viscosities and solids content.
Standard electric mixers are supplied complete, ready-to-use and fully compliant.

Standard air motors include an exhaust muffler, flow control valve for variable speed and hose tail for connection to a dry lubricated air supply.
Optional Light lube / Lube free motors provide maintenance-schedule flexibility and can reduce component and system maintenance costs.
LL option: light oil vane material and minimal rust protection, suitable where motors rarely receive oil or maintenance, or lubricators must be eliminated. Vane material extends motor life when oiled and works without lubrication; independent tests showed more than 10,000 hours in completely oil less applications.
Light lube motors are standard on 0.37-0.75kw IBC mixers.
NLP option: fully oil-free construction with complete corrosion protection where the slightest contamination cannot be tolerated.
ATEX certified pneumatic mixers are available and recommended for ATEX zoned areas.

For viscosity over 4,000cP, dual impellers are normally used for top-to-bottom turnover. An optional Low Level Kicker ensures mixing down to low levels.
