ICP DAS Ethernet I/O Module ET-2217
ICP Electronics Australia is proud to introduce ICP DAS’s ET-2217. The ET-2217 is a module that offers 16 single-ended analogue inputs or 8 differential analogue inputs. For all Analog Input channels, the module has a customizable input range, including 150 mV, 500 mV, 1 V, 2.5 V, 5 V, 10 V, 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA, and 20 mA. For high overvoltage protection up to 120 VDC and overcurrent protection up to 50 mA at 110 VDC/VAC, each analogue input channel can be programmed with a unique input range. With a DIP switch, you may choose the input voltage and current.
The ET-2217 has an adjustable sampling rate that may be set to either fast mode (200Hz) or standard mode (20Hz). It can be used to store data on voltage and current. Additionally, for extra security, the module has per-channel open wire detection for 4 to 20 mA input, 4 kV ESD/EFT protection, 2 kV surge protection, and 3000 VDC intra-module isolation.
The MQTT protocol is supported by the ET-2217 module, which can also serve as a message publisher and subscriber. The module can send messages to subscribed topics and publish the I/O status in real-time using a topic when linked to the MQTT Broker server. The ET-2217 module contains a reconnection mechanism that can automatically reestablish the connection if it loses contact with the broker while communicating. A Keep-Alive Interval mechanism is also present to guarantee a constant connection to the Broker.
Administrators can monitor the status of the ET-2217 in real-time thanks to the ET-2217's support for the SNMP V2c specification, which enables it to broadcast both module and I/O information to SNMP network management hardware or software (SNMP Network Management Software). The module can keep track of the channel state at all times if the Trap function is enabled by sending a message to the management if the I/O status changes or the module reboots.
