Auto and Industrial Equipment Parts Washer ...
Parts Washers
Often referred to as ‘hot-wash’, ‘spray-wash’, ‘jet-wash’, ‘parts cleaner’, 'automatic parts washer', etc they are used to remove grease, oil and dirt from aluminium, steel, brass, cast iron, plastics… hence their application in a range of industries from engine & gearbox rebuilders, motor workshops, hydraulic, extruding, mining, construction and manufacturing industries.
Our range of Australian made Rotary Parts Washers & Degreasers are constructed in stainless steel, have a stainless steel pump and are insulated to maintain heat, making them long-lasting and efficient to operate.
Auto & Industrial Equipment’s Rotary Parts Washers & Degreasers utilize an enclosed rotating basket which is directionally jet-sprayed with a hot water/detergent solution.
The water/detergent solution can be re-used many times, economising water & detergent.
The water/detergent solution is heated by 3 immersed elements which are thermostatically controlled by a three-phase power box, with 24v controls for operator safety. The use of insulation assists in maintaining operation temperatures up to 80°C.
A wash-cycle timer can be used to set washing duration, shutting down the jet-spraying system but maintaining temperature once the pre-set time has elapsed.
The latent heat in the washed parts assists in ‘flash drying’, and there is no risk of rusting, as our recommended detergent contains a mild rust inhibitor.
The basket can be rotated using one of two methods:
Units where the basket is driven by Water-jet Pressure have a ‘free-spinning’ basket. High-pressure water-jets are directed onto an array of fins on the base of the basket which result in the basket rotating. Parts are washed by spray-bars located above, below and to the side of the basket.
Units which are Gear Driven have the basket attached to a spindle which is rotated by a motor. Gear Driven units have high torque, low speed rotation. These units come with X-Configuration spray-bars, located above & below the basket with upright spray-bars located on opposite sides of the basket, concentrating the cleaning action. Basket support frames in these models increase wash load capacity to 750Kg.
