Coilflo Mini Heat Exchangers: An ultra compact, coil-in-pot type heat exchanger, with free draining primary flowpath. Coiled heat exchangers are hygienic and available with triclamp or BSM fittings.

Coilflo Mini Heat Exchangers (also known as Coil-in-Shell Heat Exchangers) are designed to process low flows of product efficiently whilst retaining the highest levels of sterility and hygiene, all within the compact heat exchanger practical. The Coilflo Mini Heat Exchanger utilizes a Coil-in-Shell configuration where the product stream is directed to coiled inner heat transfer tubing and the heating or cooling flow, in the shell.

Coilflo Mini Heat Exchangers are designed to be installed vertically as this enables the product flow path to be completely self-draining. Coilflo’s are typically supplied with wall mount brackets and stainless steel clad insulation but can be floor mounted if required.

Formed from a single coiled 12.7mmØ tube, these compact heat exchangers can heat or cool flows of just 200L/hr and the 19mmØ version can handle up to 1000l/hr. Inner tubes are 316 stainless steel as standard and can be supplied with seamless tubing with an electropolished surface finish for pharmaceutical use. The simple but very effective heat transfer principle, in an aseptic design, has led to Coilflo Mini Heat Exchangers being are installed in many pharmaceutical, biopharma, food and beverage facilities across Australia.
