Pneumatic External Vibrators - NVR, NVG, ...
In the former model a ball is rotated by air pressure around the inside of a hardened steel race to give an out of balance force. The speed of rotation and the force output are varied by changing the inlet air pressure. This principle also applies to the roller type. In the turbine, an out-of-balance turbine is held in bearings while being rotated. In this case there is no metal to metal contact which gives a much quieter operation with no lubrication required.
Again, varying the air inlet pressure will change the frequency and force.
Pneumatic External Vibrators - NVR, NVG, NVT & NQT Series
Application
The pneumatic external vibrators series NQT, NVG, NVR und NVT are especially suitable for compacting, conveying and loosening bulk material. They are used to compact concrete, empty bins and as drives for conveyors, sieves and vibrating tables. A special feature is the ruggedness against strong varying loads. There is no danger of overload.
Design and functioning principle
The vibration (circular) is produced by eccentric rotating rotors. The frequency and the centrifugal force are continuously adjustable by the operating pressure. For operation a control valve is required (not included in scope of delivery).
Permissible operating conditions Drive medium:
Compressed air or nitrogen (Filter ≤ 5 μm), preferably with oil mist.
Operating pressure:
100 kPa to 700 kPa
Ambient temperature:
–10ºC to +60ºC
Units for other temperatures are available.
