Pax Airless Spray Lubrication System
GW Technologies is the Australian distributor for Pax in-die lubrication systems. Pax is the pioneer of in-die lubrication. Since 1980, Pax Lube Systems have been giving stampers the opportunity to be more productive. The Pax system was designed and manufactured by skilled tool and die craftsmen and tested in the Pax stamping facility. Through the use of the Pax Lube System, production speeds increase, part quality improves, die life is extended, and lube consumption is decreased.
The Pax Lube Systems are a "pre-pressurized" airless spray system - lubricant is supplied to a manifold under pressure providing a constant and consistent supply of lubricant. As long as there is a supply of lubricant in the reservoir, there will always be lubricant available at the distribution pumps. This also means that the distribution pumps work more efficiently because no priming is required. The "airless" spray mechanism means that the air feed used to drive the pump system is completely separate from the lubricant circuit.
Lubricant is not mixed with air and atomised for spraying, with the result that overspray is kept to negligible levels and hazardous "misting" of lubricant in the pressroom is eliminated. Lubricant is distributed only to where it is needed in the die, with dramatically improved worker safety and pressroom compared to conventional spray systems.
Features:
Pax airless spray lubrication systems are available in several configurations and with a range of available spray assemblies and spray tips:
