With a selection of standard industry frame sizes, common bore sizes, and a variety of mounting configurations, Nexen’s new Evolve Electric Servomotor Brakes offer the spring engaged, electrically released solution for a more robust machine design.

• Standard Voltage Option: Available in 24 VDC
• Frame Sizes: Industry-standard 155 mm, 125 mm, and 100 mm frame sizes
• Zero Backlash Holding: Nexen utilizes a flexible rotor and flexible discs for true Zero Backlash up to 100% of holding torque.
• Zero Backlash Clamp Collar: The easy-to-install split-hub shaft collar, with a backup keyway, prevents backlash for smooth stopping and precision holding up to and beyond the minimum holding torque.
• Ease of Installation: An air gap is set at the factory, so there’s no need for initial adjustment or fine-tuning in the field. Rated torques are achievable out of the box.
• Overhung Load: Double Row Angular Contact Bearing delivers high overhung load capacity and axial rigidity.
• Environmental Protection: Sealed housing meets IP65 dust and waterproof standards.
