One of Australia’s leading masonry manufacturers approached us with a need to upgrade their aging pallet wrapping machines across their production facilities. As a key player in the construction industry, they required modern machines with enhanced features to improve their packaging efficiency while keeping costs under control. Their existing equipment was outdated, leading to operational inefficiencies, and they were looking for a reliable solution that could meet their budget and production timelines.
After an assessment of their current wrapping and dispatch methods, Gateway Packaging recommended the X1, X100, and X200 Pallet Wrapping Machines. These machines were selected because of their capability to wrap up 40 pallets per hour, support a maximum load weight of 2000kg, and wrap pallets up to a height of 2350mm. This represented a significant upgrade from their previous old equipment, offering improvements in productivity, load containment, and film savings.
The X1, X100, and X200 machines come with a simple one-touch operation, designed for maximum ease of use. Their intuitive control panel ensures smooth operation, making the process more efficient and improving workflow. Additionally, the single-motor 300% stretch film head stretches 1 meter of wrap to cover 3 meters of pallet, greatly reducing wrap costs and minimizing waste.
To further support their environmental sustainability goals, we recommended using Gateway’s Paxum stretch film, which can be recycled, reducing trade waste and environmental impact.
Because we had the machines readily available in stock, we were able to ensure timely delivery and installation, helping the customer quickly enhance their packaging process. Our solution enabled them to maintain efficiency in their production facilities while upgrading to modern, reliable equipment without disrupting their workflow.
