Ionisation Flame Controller | BFI Automation ...
The flame monitoring system 3000 is TÜV tested according to EN 298:2012 and approved according to DIN DVGW. It meets the requirements of TRD 411 to TRD 414and TRD 604. Because of its fully electronic continuous selfchecking functions the plug-in unit is approved for continuous operation and maintenance-free operation up to 72 hours.
The flexible flame monitoring system 3000 can be built up from standardised assemblies using the 19" slide-in module system, depending on the application. Modern electronic circuit engineering with MSItechnology triggers the prescribed safety measures not only when the flame signals fail but also in the case of a defect, which could simulate a flame signal during burner operation. The flame signals are evaluated in a way, that faults in the ionisation flow sensor electrode or the connection cable as well as component faults in the amplifier cause the flame relay to trip. As an option the safety circuits and relays are designed as redundant components to meet the higher requirements demanded for maintenancefree operation of up to 72 hours and continuous operation.
Applications
For continuous, intermittent and 72 h operation, certified for gas and oil firings. The 3011 unit operates also with combined ignition-/ ionization electrodes. This Ionization flame amplifier is available with a one channel design (3011/1) for continuous operation and with a two channel design (3011/2) for 72h operation without supervision.
