ETS | Filtration | E-Carb Plus
We understand the impact that moisture, temperature and humidity can have on the life and effectiveness of activated carbon allowing us to design an effective solution for different applications.
Activated carbon has a particularly high surface area allowing it to physically adsorb at the molecular level. This is largely due to the distribution of Micro, Meso and Macro pores, where the bulk of the surface area is derived from the Micro and Meso pores.
Media selection is a critical part of designing an activated carbon system with varying base materials determining the different properties and adsorption characteristics:
Our range of media options includes non-impregnated granular activated carbon (GAC) as well as several varieties of chemically impregnated pelleted activated carbon in both Coconut and Coal. Chemical impregnates include:
We also offer High H2S adsorption carbon in both Coconut and Coal which H2S loading capacities greater than double that of traditional impregnated carbons. Furthermore, these high capacity carbons are completely safe for disposal in either composting or landfill as they do not have the issue of high acidity that impregnated carbons exhibit when depleted.
