The Woodpecker™ is a Percussion 2 Pneumatic Oscillating System used for Femoral Broaching. It represents an advancement of the Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA) procedure, with over 5000 systems in use today.

The Woodpecker™ can be used both as a rasp for prosthetic device operations and as an intermedullary pin implantation and extraction machine. The high-frequency axial impulses of the instrument substantially reduce operating time. At the same time, avoiding a non-physiological build up of pressure in the bone.
