Strain Gauges - TML F Series by Bestech ...
These strain gauge series are widely used for physical force measurements in mechanical, marine, aircraft and civil engineering as well as the fields of architecture, automobiles, and medical science.
The general purpose F-series strain gauge consists of photo-etched metallic resistance foil, together with an electrical insulation base and a set of gauge leads.
These strain gauges employ specially controlled alloy foils which are 0.003 to 0.007 mm thick. The grid is precision-etched using advanced technology, and makes use of an extremely thin epoxy backing which exhibits excellent electrical insulation performance. A gauge length as short as 0.2mm and a stress concentration measurement gauge are available in this series.
The strain gauges can operate in temperatures of between -20 and 80°C. The element material is Cu-Ni alloy, and applicable bonding adhesives include CN, P-2 and EB-2. The strain limit in these gauges is 3% (30000 x 10-6) and fatigue life at room temperature is 1x106.
These strain gauges are applicable on metal, glass and ceramics, giving it variability in use.
The leadwire-integrated F series has a pre-attached vinyl leadwire to the F series strain gauges.
This series of strain gauges are available in Australia and New Zealand from Bestech Australia Pty Ltd
