MRB21 Features
The MRB21 series General Purpose Pressure Transmitter is silicon-based Piezoelectric pressure transducer, provides flexibility and reliability for a variety of applications. MRB21 is designed especially for use under harsh conditions and remote monitoring systems. Featuring an SS316L diaphragm, the MRB21 offers a compact and rugged design that makes it ideal for a variety of applications. The features of the MRB21 include high measuring accuracy and pressure measurement range of -1 to 600bar. The MRB21 also features reverse polarity and transient current protection.
Materials
The diaphragm materials of the MRB21 are made from SS316L, with available option of Titanium, Hastelloy or Tantalum for corrosive Medias upon request.
Standard and Optional Precision
For this device the standard total band accuracy (includes non-linearity, Hysteresis and repeatability) is 0.5% FS. However, other options for a precision of 0.25% FS and 0.1% FS are available.
Temperature and Insulation Specifications
The temperature and insulation specifications for the MRB21 General Purpose Pressure Transmitter are the following:
- Compensated temp. range: 0 to 70°C
- Operating temp. range: – 30 to +80°C
- Temp. coefficient of zero: 0.02% FS /°C
- Temp. coefficient of span: 0.02% FS /°C
- Insulation resistance: 100MΩ @ 50VDC
Protection Levels
The MRB21 General Purpose Pressure Transmitter also offers protection levels of up to all around IP65 with DIN connection or the optional IP68 with cable connection. With these customisable features available, the MRB21 is designed for long term application.

This is made possible by the 3 to 20VDC input voltage. The MRB21 series can also be used in the pressure measurement of gases & liquids compatible with SS316L.
