EMT999 Min/Max & Alarm Thermometer may be used with or without the remote sensor plugged in. The display will show ambient temperatures without the probe, and if the remote probe is plugged in, all readings will be from the probe. The remote probe has a small bottle that can be filled with water or glycol to avoid alarms for short temperature fluctuations.
If an alarm is present, the thermometer will beep and flash a red light. Pressing any button will silence the beep. Alarms can be changed manually. Pressing the Event button will show when the alarm started.
Temperature range is -50 to +70 using the remote sensor, -5 to +50 using the internal sensor. The accuracy is +/- 0.3C from 0 to +40C. The large display shows one decimal.
