VEGA are high-speed 5 axes machining centers featuring a motorized suspended bridge structure sliding on the two extremities.

They are made of very thick, welded heat treated steel. In order to provide a solution with a dynamically rigid structure, the design of VEGA series has been optimized to offer a unique combination of performance, short machining times, flexibility, high quality finish and long-term rigidity.

The linear axis movement is managed by powerful rack and pinion drives with two electronically preloaded servo motors on each side.

Electronic backlash recovery is obtained thanks to the digital servo-drive that generates a mechanical preload between the two pinions (mechanical coupling).
